Description

Give Back to Your Roots Grant Details

  • Applicants from all four FFA regions can receive these grants.
  • Preference will be given, but not limited to:
    • Applicants who plan to use funding toward the FFA student chapter affiliation fees.
    • Plant science-based educational opportunities/equipment and supervised agricultural experience programs.
    • New applicants.
    • Sustainable and impactful items.
  • Grants can also be used to purchase necessary supplies and materials for local agricultural education programs including items such as computers, laboratory supplies, greenhouse equipment, official dress items, etc.
  • Applications should be completed by FFA Alumni and Supporters members, not FFA advisors or agriculture teachers.
  • Grant funding will be distributed to FFA Alumni and Supporters chapters multiple times a year.
  • All funding must be used by Dec. 31 of the same year.
  • Recipients are required to provide a year-end report including pictures of the chapter/project for use by the National FFA Organization, and sending a Thank You letter. 
  • FFA Alumni and Supporters chapters can receive funding in one category per grant period with a maximum of two grants per year.
  • Preference will be given to new applicants and projects with sustainable and impactful items.
  • Give Back to Your Roots Grants are supported by Nutrien Ag Solutions.
