The National FFA Chapter Connect program is designed to foster deep, meaningful connections among FFA members nationwide. Through intentional experiences before, during, and after the National FFA Convention & Expo, participating chapters will engage with peers from different regions, program types, and lived experiences.
Selected chapters will be paired with another program and participate jointly in pre-convention engagements, national convention sessions/events, and post-convention experiences. Additionally, each chapter pair will develop and work on a Chapter Connect Project for the mutual benefit of their chapters. To support participation, chapters in financial need are eligible to apply for a Chapter Connect Grant to help offset travel and convention expenses. Following the convention, chapters are encouraged to continue their connections by arranging a chapter exchange experience within six months. Financial assistance for chapter exchange experiences is to be determined.
Learning Objectives
- Members will build positive relationships with peers from different chapters.
- Participants will broaden their understanding of varied viewpoints and practices.
- Members will strengthen their self‑awareness and ability to work well within a team.
- Advisors will grow their skills in guiding students and collaborating with fellow educators.
